Lauryl Tryoptose with MUG is formulated for detecting and enumerating E. coli and coliform bacteria using the Most Probable Number (MPN) method, sodium lauryl sulfate in the selective medium ensures accurate coliform identification by inhibiting gram-positive organisms. The incorporation of MUG enables E. coli detection through fluorescence under UV light. Water Quality Testing: Suitable for monitoring drinking water, recreational water, and wastewater.
